René Holten created the Megan chair for Artifort in 2005 as a multipurpose design suitable for a wide range of commercial and residential settings. The gracefully curved seat shell provides excellent support and works well as a dining chair, office reception chair or utilitarian boardroom design. Megan can be specified with the following leg and base support structures in both standard and low variations: 4 Leg, 4 Leg Low, Sledge, Sledge Low, 4 Star Non-Swiveling, 4 Star Swiveling and a 5 Star, height adjustable office design. Additional aesthetic options include the choice of polished chrome or Artifort's durable, powder coat color finishes.

René Holten (1961) is a graduate of the Design Academy in Eindhoven.
