René Holten's popular 2003 design has tightly upholstered cushions and slim, polished stainless steel or powder coated legs that seamlessly flow into the frame structure. A distinctive, signature groove in the middle of the sofa elegantly divides the two seating sections and enhances the visual sophistication of the design. The Mare sofa is available with both thin and wide arms and can be specified in 2 seat, 2.2 seat, 2.5 seat, and 3 seat lengths. The Mare Loose Cushion sofa (2006) and Mare modular (2008) expand on Rene Holten's original design concept while maintaining its high aesthetic and functional purity.
