Artifort’s lovable Swamp chair by designer Michiel van der Kley offers the ultimate in deep relaxation and seating comfort. The Swamp delivers just the right amount of support while cradling its occupant in a warm, soft embrace ideal for unwinding and reducing the stress of the day. The design is available in both a small and extra large version and can be visually amplified by a wide assortment of two toned interior and exterior color variations. Optional ottomans are also offered to match the small and extra large designs.

It was when Michiel van der Kley (1962) became acquainted with the design of the nineteen-twenties (Bauhaus, Mackintosh) during his study of history that he decided to become a designer himself. He has been working for manufacturers at home and abroad since 1987, including Artifort. Van der Kley produces designs with a great eye for detail, from which he believes that the object derives its individuality.
